About the project
This is the first in a series of four films we post-produced for Director Puneet Sharma and Xebec Films as part of the Punjab Government’s initiative to promote the i-Khet app. The campaign is a vital effort to reduce stubble burning and encourage farmers to adopt modern, sustainable practices.
This film focuses on the economic benefits of using the i-Khet app and the Happy Seeder. It tells the story of a farmer who discovers that avoiding stubble burning and using the app to access tools like the Happy Seeder saves him time and reduces his farming costs. The Happy Seeder eliminates the need for clearing stubble before planting, turning crop residue into protective mulch that improves soil fertility. The app simplifies the process further, connecting farmers to cooperative societies offering these machines at affordable rates.
We were entrusted with the post-production for this series, ensuring each film effectively communicated its message through seamless editing and sharp visuals. This film strikes a balance between practical advice and storytelling, helping farmers understand the financial advantages of modern farming techniques.
