How Much Does It Cost to Hire a Corporate Video Production Company in Delhi NCR?

If you are planning a corporate film in Delhi NCR, the first question is almost always the same: "Roughly, what will this cost?"

It is a fair question. It is also a bit like asking a wedding planner what a wedding costs. The honest answer is that it depends on what you want to say, who needs to hear it, and how many people have to be in the room.

But "it depends" is a frustrating answer when you are trying to set a budget. So here is a more useful one, from a corporate video production company that has been answering this question in Delhi NCR for 16 years.

Corporate video production cost in Delhi NCR: the short answer

For corporate films, brand films and documentaries made by a professional studio in India, budgets usually fall into three bands:

Budget band

What it usually covers

₹1 to 3 lakh

Short internal films, editing-led projects, or work where the story is already shaped and you mainly need good craft.

₹3 to 10 lakh

Full-service brand films and corporate films, taken from story to screen. This is where most serious corporate work sits.

₹10 lakh and above

Multi-location, long-form documentaries and ecosystem-level storytelling, where the story has to be found before it can be told.

These are the bands we work in at The Qurious Studio. Other studios price differently, and a single-day shoot with one interview is a very different job from a documentary across several states. Treat these as a starting point for planning, not a price list.

What you are actually paying for in a corporate video

When a film is priced, most people picture the cameras. The cameras are the smaller part. Here is where the money really goes:

  1. The thinking. Story discovery, narrative structure, scripting, and aligning stakeholders on what the film must say. This is the least visible part of the bill and the most valuable. A film that is shot beautifully but says the wrong thing is an expensive mistake.

  2. Production. Crew, camera and lighting, sound, locations, and the number of shoot days. An experienced cinematographer and a proper sound setup cost more, and you can see and hear the difference.

  3. People on screen. Interview subjects, actors and voice-over artists. Each adds coordination and cost.

  4. Post-production. Editing, colour, sound design, graphics and music. This is where a film finds its rhythm, and it usually takes longer than people expect.

  5. Travel and logistics. Multiple cities, factory floors, field locations and permissions. A film shot in one office and a film shot across five locations are different projects.

  6. Music and usage. We use licensed stock music on every project, so the film is safe to run where you plan to run it. Cutting corners here can cost you later.

  7. Revisions and timelines. How many rounds of feedback are included, and how quickly you need the film.

Why two quotes for the same corporate video can differ by three times

Because they are rarely the same video.

One quote may include story development, an experienced crew, proper sound and a structured edit. The other may be a shoot and a cut. On paper both say "corporate film, 3 minutes". In reality, one is a plan and the other is footage.

When you compare quotes, do not compare totals. Compare what is inside them.

Cheaper is not always cheaper

A film that does not make your audience understand you costs the full price. It just does not return anything.

A modest budget can work well when the goal is realistic and the message is clear. What rarely works is a small budget aimed at an outcome that needs a much larger plan. The goal and the budget have to belong to the same conversation.

How long does corporate video production take?

Most corporate and brand films take two to four weeks from briefing to delivery. Whether it lands closer to two or to four depends mostly on how clear the brief is and how quickly feedback and approvals come in. Here is how that time is usually spent:

  • Brief to script and shoot plan: 4 to 5 days.

  • Shoot to first cut: 7 to 10 days of post-production before you see a first draft.

  • Revisions: usually wrapped up in about another week.

That adds up to roughly 15 to 20 business days of work on our side. The rest is the time it takes for feedback and approvals to travel inside your organisation, which is why deciding early who signs off matters so much.

What about documentaries? A documentary usually takes one to two weeks longer than a corporate film, and that extra time goes mostly into research, discussion and interpreting the brief rather than into shooting or editing. Many social impact documentaries reach us after the programme has already happened, so the job is to document what took place. We would always rather be involved while the work is still unfolding, because that is when the story is easiest to find.

Most clients also come to us with a deadline that is already fixed. When that happens, we plan backwards from it, so tell us the date at the first conversation.

What is included in a standard quote

  • Three rounds of revisions on editing and post-production. In practice, it very rarely reaches the third round.

  • Licensed stock music on every project.

  • Voice-over, unless the film does not need one.

Travel outside your city is billed depending on the location and the number of shoot days. What we never charge for are the travel days themselves. If we need to reach a location a day early and leave a day after the shoot, that is built into every quote.

How payment works

There are two simple options:

  • 50/50: 50% on signing the contract and 50% before the final files are released. This suits projects that wrap up within a month.

  • 30/40/30: 30% on signing, 40% before the shoot and 30% before release. This suits longer projects, typically over a month.

How to get more from your budget

Some of the most useful things you can do cost nothing:

  • Know the one thing the film must do. Not five things. One. Everything else gets easier once that is clear.

  • Share your budget early. A good studio will use it to shape the right approach, not to inflate the quote.

  • Decide who approves the film. Late feedback from someone who was never part of the conversation is the quietest budget killer there is.

  • Resist fitting everything in. Every extra message dilutes the main one.

  • Do not send a reference to copy. Tell us what you like about it. The tone, the clarity, the feeling. That helps us build something original that belongs to you.

  • Plan for the film's life after release. A well-made film can be cut into versions for different uses.

Questions worth asking before you hire a video production company

  • Who will actually work on my film?

  • What is included in this price, and what is not (revisions, music, voice-over, extra shoot days, travel)?

  • How do you approach a brief before you start shooting?

  • Can I speak to a past client?

  • What happens if the scope changes?

Good studios welcome these questions. If a studio gets uncomfortable with them, that is useful information too.

Is a production company the right choice for you?

Not always, and we would rather say so. If you need a quick, simple video at volume, a freelancer or an in-house team may serve you better.

A film studio makes sense when the idea is layered, the audience matters and the film has a real job to do: a brand film, a corporate film for employees or investors, a CSR documentary, or a film that explains a complex process. That is the work we are built for.

Frequently asked questions about corporate video production

How much does corporate video production cost in Delhi NCR?

It depends on scope, but professional corporate and brand films typically sit between ₹3 and 10 lakh at our studio, with shorter, editing-led projects below that and large documentaries above.

Because they often cover different things. Differences in story development, crew experience, locations, post-production and music licensing change the price significantly.

For a full production engagement with story development, shoot and edit, our minimum is ₹3 lakh. Below that, we work on editing and shorter internal films.

Usually two to four weeks from briefing to delivery. About 15 to 20 business days of that is our work, and the rest depends on how quickly feedback and approvals come in.

Typically one to two weeks longer than a corporate film. The extra time goes mostly into research, discussion and interpreting the brief, not into shooting or editing. If you have a fixed deadline, we plan backwards from it.

Up to three rounds of revisions on editing and post-production are included in every quote.

Yes. We use licensed stock music on every project, and voice-over is included unless the film does not need one.

Travel is billed based on the location and the number of shoot days. We do not charge for the travel days themselves, such as arriving a day before or leaving a day after the shoot.

You can choose 50/50 (50% on signing, 50% before the final files are released) for projects under a month, or 30/40/30 (on signing, before the shoot, before release) for longer projects.

Yes. It lets the studio recommend an approach that fits, rather than guessing and pricing defensively.

We are a Delhi NCR film studio and have shot across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad, as well as in 23 states across India.

Look for a studio whose past work solves a problem like yours, a team that asks about your audience before your shot list, and a clear explanation of what is inside the quote. Speak to a past client if you can. You can see our work for Tilda, Dabur and the SBI Foundation on our website and judge the fit yourself.
